How I AeroPress™

Estimated read time: 2 minutes

Having discovered Excalidraw and being asked how I use my Aeropress on the same day, I saw an opportunity:

For those of you who know me, you know I'm a walking Pareto principle, meaning that I very much enjoy the situations where you get 80% of the value for 20% of the effort. AeroPress is definitely hits that sweet spot. It's extremely versatile, easy to clean, it travels very well, and it does not really require any extra equipment.

If you want some excruciating details (more then you think), check James Hoffmann's video on all the variances of this way of making coffee.

It is easy to get lost in the nerdiness here. There even exists a World AeroPress Championship! Before you know it, you've signed up. The first one was actually held in Oslo, Norway, in 2008, and it is still going strong.

Not to forget, the inventor of the AeroPress, Alan Adler, is also known for making a record breaking «Frisbee», called Aerobie (full story).
